At Tampa General Hospital, we are working hard to ensure safe, world-class care is attainable for everyone in the Tampa Bay community and beyond, no matter the circumstances.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, there are many people who do not require a hospital visit. We have a variety of expanded services and care options for those who want to be tested for COVID-19 or receive care for another condition.
With our new and improved TGH Virtual Health app, you can connect with a medical care professional anytime, anywhere from your smartphone, tablet or computer, 24/7/365.
Providers can screen patients for COVID-19 based on the most recent CDC and Florida Department of Health guidelines. The screening process consists of questions based on symptoms, travel, and exposure. If a patient is screened and determined to need a COVID-19 test or further evaluation, the virtual provider will direct them to the most appropriate place of care based on their symptoms and risk level.
Our TGH Virtual Health providers are also available to diagnosis and treat any other conditions or illnesses you may be experiencing.
TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track
There are ten TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track locations open throughout the Tampa Bay area. To ensure all patients and staff are safe, every patient is screened upon entry. The screening process consists of a questionnaire, in addition to taking a physical temperature.
If a patient screens positive, they will be directed to one of our two designated COVID-19 locations where they can receive further evaluation and testing. If you do get tested at one of these sites, you can expect to receive your test results in 5-10 days.
Call (813) 925-1903 to create a Fast Pass reservation at one of our TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track locations or visit fasttrackurgentcare.com.
Hillsborough County Testing Sites

These two sites are located at Raymond James Stadium and the Lee Davis Community Resource Center. They are open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The county is promoting community-wide screening, and you don’t have to be showing COVID-19 symptoms to be tested.
Please call (813) 272-5900 to pre-register & schedule an appointment.
Tampa General Medical Group
All Tampa General Medical Group (TGMG) locations are open and we are evolving daily to provide the safest care environments for our patients. Before going to your TGMG provider’s office, be sure to call them and follow their recommendations for care.
